The mesmerizing world of patterns and surface design goes well beyond spots and stripes. Patterns bring life and refined aesthetics to all sorts of objects. My process often starts with me drawing and painting by hand before going into digital form: that’s why every piece is unique, full of textures and with some beauty in the imperfections. We call surface design everything that includes pattern, illustration and design to make wallpapers, book covers, stationery, textile printing and whatever else.
